The Protagonist of English Medium Business Studies New Syllabus

 

Online classes don’t have the same atmosphere as a physical classroom. So it is important to add value to the tutes, papers and other educational content so students can easily grasp the subject. It’s the most important aspect to a successful online class. So give me some time please - said the protagonist of this article Mrs Ramziya Mohideen, at first when we contacted her to coordinate a Business Studies online class for tutoo.lk.

Pandemic has been tough on most of us and the pressure is tremendous for the students. As teenagers without having to leave their houses, online classes has become a mental torture.  That is why we seek for teachers with quality content and teaching materials and bring them to students across the country. Our students have been always who seeks for quality teachers to fulfill their exam targets without stressing their mind. We believe in the quote, “Tough times never last, but tough people do” by Robert Schuller, 1983.

We came across this wonderful teacher while searching for an English medium Business Studies tutor to conduct our online group class. Immediately we knew that Mrs Ramziya Mohideen is the best tutor for the subject niether because of her broad experience nor the academic qualifications that stood tall but her vision.

She’s the author of English medium Business Studies new syllabus for grade 12 and 13 at National Institute of Education (NIE). She’s humbled to share about the G.C.E advance level exam paper was created from the syllabus she helped complete. She has worked closely with the Director of Commerce and senior lecturers of commerce at NIE during her tenure at NIE. There are only about 25 paper marking examiners in Sri Lanka for English medium Business Studies subject and she’s one of them. She understands how a student should write for the questions to get a normal pass or a merit (A) pass.

Currently she’s reading for her PhD in commerce and prior to that she’s well qualified with a bachelors degree from the University of Jayawardenapura (B.Sc. B.Ad.) and a post graduate diploma in education from the university of Colombo with a distinction pass. She has worked at national schools for 5 years and 3 years at international schools before the appointment to the government schools.

A parent could not ask for a better online teacher for their teenage children. Mrs Mohideen is commencing here first ever online class with tutoo.lk on following days.

Revision class for 2022 GCE A/L exam starting on June 4th and every Fridays at 4 - 6 pm.
Theory class for 2023 GCE A/L exam starting on June 5th and every Saturdays at 4 - 6 pm.

Revision class for 2021 GCE A/L exam starting on June 6th and every Sundays at 4 - 6 pm
